Located at 14 - 16 Ten Bell Lane, the yard (pictured in 1938), could have been named after Christopher Trowse a tailor who worked at 10 - 14 Ten Bell Lane. The yard was demolished soon after this photo was taken as part of the council's slum clearance scheme.
